Every ad platform reports different numbers, and it is easy to lose track of how they relate. Enter what you know and this calculator works out the rest: click-through rate, cost per click, cost per thousand impressions, conversion rate, cost per acquisition, average order value, ROAS and ROI.
You do not need to fill every field. A metric appears as soon as its inputs are available.
CTR = clicks / impressions CPC = spend / clicks CPM = spend / impressions x 1000 CVR = conversions / clicks CPA = spend / conversions ROAS = revenue / spend ROI = (revenue - spend) / spend
Each metric is a simple ratio, but they chain together. Take spend of 10,000, 200,000 impressions, 4,000 clicks, 200 conversions and 40,000 revenue. CTR is 2 percent, CPM is 50, CPC is 2.50, conversion rate is 5 percent, CPA is 50, average order value is 200 and ROAS is 4x. A weak CTR points to creative or targeting, a weak conversion rate points to the landing page or offer, and a weak AOV points to pricing.
Be careful with the ROI figure. This calculator computes ROI as revenue minus spend, divided by spend, so it uses revenue rather than profit. In the example above that gives 300 percent, even though product costs have not been deducted. If you care about real profitability, subtract cost of goods and other costs first, or use the Break-even ROAS Calculator. The tool also rejects clicks above impressions and conversions above clicks, because those combinations usually mean a typo or mismatched reporting periods.
It depends on your margins. A ROAS of 4x can lose money on a low-margin product and be excellent on a high-margin one. Use the Break-even ROAS Calculator to find your own threshold.
ROAS is revenue divided by ad spend. ROI looks at profit: revenue minus spend, divided by spend.
They need inputs you left empty. For example, CPA needs spend and conversions.
No. Calculations run in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
The tool calculates ROI from revenue minus ad spend, not from profit. It does not know your product, shipping or fee costs, so the figure overstates true profit unless you enter net revenue.
Each metric needs specific inputs. CPA needs spend and conversions, for example, and ratios need a non-zero denominator. Fill in the missing field and the result shows up immediately.
